If You Don’t Like It, Change It

If you don’t like your job, then change the part you don’t like or find a new job.

If you don’t like that you are in debt, then change it.

If you don’t like how you feel about yourself, change it.

BUT……it isn’t that simple (you say to me!)

Yes, it is. So much of your pain, sorrow, and confusion come from deciding to whine and complain about life, rather than choosing to behave differently.

Everything is difficult when you start. Of course, changing is hard, but it is often harder than what you are experiencing at this moment.

Change becomes easier once you gain some momentum. Change becomes easier with the right decisions, behaviors, and success behind you.

Every thought, decision, and action you make takes you closer to what you want out of life. Now that leads to the bigger question of “What do you want from your life?”

Maybe you hate your job, you are in debt, not having fun, and feel terrible about the person you are becoming because you don’t know who you are and what you want out of your life. Then you are willing to make not-so-great decisions in the moment.

A small thing to think about this week!
