When Your Choice Is Between Good, Better, and Best

When I hear others proudly say, "I'm so busy or I'm too busy," as if it is a badge of honor, the individual is telling me they don't know how to properly manage their time, set priorities, or say no. I think they are mentally lazy. It feels good to have others think you are busy and conquering life when in reality they are telling me they have no balance in life.

Those busy, busy people have no idea of the concept of opportunity cost. Opportunity cost is the key to how you make decisions. It is understanding what is good, better, and best in your daily life and having intention on how you choose to spend your time. Time is finite and you only get the next hour once. So it is important to choose wisely how to spend or invest your time.

Am I sharing this so you fit more into your day? Wrong! Choose the right things to create the life you want. Those memes, 30 minutes on Instagram, or that hilarious Youtube video, have a cost, but they don't want you to know that. You might not choose them anymore.

I do believe you can do everything, just not all right now!
